PERTUMBUHAN TANAMAN HIAS DAUN SIRIH MERAH (Piper Crocatum) PADA BEBERAPA KOMPOSISI MEDIA DAN DOSIS PUPUK N
Abstract
The growth of Piper bitle red (Piper Crocatum) seedlings is susceptible if it grown on media that is too mist media. This study aims to determine the growth of Piper bitle red in different compositions of planting media and application of different N fertilizers. The research was conducted in the green house of the experimental garden, Faculty of Agriculture, Wisnuwardhana University Malang. This study used a factorial randomized block design, with the first factor being the composition of the growing media (M) for ferns, husk charcoal and manure with a ratio of 4 levels, namely: M1 = 1: 1: 1, M2 = 1: 1: 2, M3 = 2: 1: 2, and M4 = 2: 1: 1. The second factor is the dose of N fertilizer (D) which consists of 4 levels, namely: D0 = without fertilizer (control), D1 = 25 kg N / ha, D2 = 50 kg N / ha, D3 = 75 kg N / ha. The results showed that the growing media of ferns, husk charcoal and manure with various composition comparisons did not show differences on the number of leaves, length and width of leaves, leaf area, length of stem internode, number of roots and total plant dry weight. The application of 25 kg N/ ha produced the growth in the number of leaves, leaf width and leaf length are higher than the application of N fertilizer 50 kg/ha and 75 kg / ha
