Abstract

The objective of the experiment is to determine the influence of type and dose organic manure [Paitan and Waste Banana Skin] on seedling growth Rambutan Cultivars Rapiah Susu (Blitar). The experiment has conducted on Sekarpuro Village, Pakis Subdistrict, Malang, that activities done on September until December 2013. The experimental design was Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 6 treatments were composed as follows: P1D0: rambutan seedlings without fertilizers paitan; P2D0: rambutan seedlings without fertilizers banana peel waste; P1D1: rambutan seedlings are fertilized paitan a dose of 5 g per plant; P1D2: rambutan seedlings are fertilized paitan a dose of 10 g per plant; P2D1: rambutan seedlings are fertilized waste banana skin at a dose of 5 g per plant; and P2D2: rambutan seedlings are fertilized waste banana skin at a dose of 10 g per plant. Each treatment was repeated four times, and each test repeted 3 times. The results of these studies include: (a) Treatment of the type and dose of biological fertilizers [Paitan and Waste Banana Skin] provides highly significant effect for all variables observation that plant height, leaf number, shoot number and size of leaf area of seedlings rambutan cultivars Blitar, ( b) the provision of green manure Tithonia diversifolia (paitan) gives better results in seedlings rambutan when compared with fertilizer waste banana skin, on all the indicator variables observation, (c) results of the lowest for all the variables observation on treatment without green manure, and (d ) treatment P1D2 provides the best results for all variables observation, namely: (1) High rambutan seedlings highest average 31.32 cm; (2) The number of leaves on average the highest number of fruit 15.92, (3) Number of new shoots on average 2.50 Highest number of fruits; and (4) Total leaf area average at least an area of 245.75 cm2
