RESPON PEMBERIAN BERBAGAI JENIS PUPUK KANDANG DAN DOSIS PUPUK KALIUM PADA PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL SELEDRI (Apiaceae: Apium graveolens L.)
Abstract
Celery is an important vegetable for the human body which can be used as an herbal medicine because it contains vitamins, essential oils, fatty acids, resin acids and glycosides. This study aims to obtain the best response to the type of manure and the dose of potassium fertilizer for growth and yield of celery. The research method used a randomized block design (RBD) which consisted of 2 factors, namely Factor 1: Type of manure with 3 levels including J1 (cow manure 15 ton / ha); J2 (goat manure 15 ton / ha); and J3 (chicken manure 15 ton / ha), while Factor 2; Potassium fertilizer dosage with 3 levels includes K1 (dose 150 kg / ha); K2 (dose 200 kg / ha); and K3 (dose 250 kg / ha). Finally, we obtained 9 treatment combinations that were repeated 3 times so that it became 27 research units, and each research unit was repeated 3 times. The results of this study were: (1) there was an interaction between the treatment combination of giving various manure with the dose of potassium fertilizer on plant height variables aged 21 and 28 DAS, the number of stems at 21 DAS observations, the number of tillers and the stem diameter at the observation age 42 DAS; (2) the application of various manure affects the variables of plant height, number of stems, stem diameter at several observation ages; and (3) the dose of potassium fertilizer has an effect on the variables of wet stover weight at harvest, plant height, number of stems and number of tillers at various ages of observation, (4) the highest yield of wet weight was obtained with the type of chicken manure at a dose of 15 ton / ha producing weight 115.99 g / tan. and a potassium fertilizer dose of 250 kg / ha produces a weight of 118.85 g / plant
