PENGARUH WAKTU PERENDAMAN DAN KONSENTRASI ZPT GIBRACID  PADA PERTUMBUHAN AWAL TANAMAN HIAS DAHLIA MINI INTRODUKSI
Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of immersion time and ZPT Gibracidâ concentration on the seedling growth of introducing mini dahlia ornamental plants which were carried out from April to September 2017 in Sekarpuro Village, Pakis District, Malang Regency. The experimental design uses Completely Randomized Design (CRD), in detail as follows: (a) T1K1: seeds soaked in Gibracid ZPT concentration of 50 ppm for 1 hour; (b) T1K2: seeds soaked in Gibracid ZPT concentration of 100 ppm for 1 hour; (c) T1K3: seeds soaked in Gibracid ZPT concentration of 150 ppm for 1 hour; (d) T2K1: seeds soaked in Gibracid ZPT concentration of 50 ppm for 2 hours; (e) T2K2: seeds soaked in Gibracid ZPT concentration of 100 ppm for 2 hours; (f) T2K3: seeds soaked in Gibracid ZPT concentration of 150 ppm for 2 hours; (g) K1: Seeds soaked in mineral water for 1 hour; and (h) K2: seeds soaked in mineral water for 2 hours. Furthermore, each treatment was repeated 3 times, and each replication was repeated 3 times. The results of the study include: (a) The treatment of immersion time and ZPT Gibracid concentration â did not have a significant effect on the percentage of Dahlia seed germination. The percentage of seed germination on the 9th day (7th observation) ranged from 80% -100%, (b) The immersion time and ZPT Gibracidâ treatment had a significant effect on: (1) plant height variables on observations 28, 35, 42 , 49, 56, 63, 70 and 77 HSS; (2) stem diameter variables observed at 28, 35, 42, 49, 56, 63, 70 and 77 HSS; (3) variables of the number of leaves on observations 28, 35, 42, 49, 56, 63, 70 and 77 HSS; (4) Variable number of stem segments on observations 35, 42, 49, 56, 63, 70, 77, 84 and 91 HSS, and (5) variables on average length of stem segments on observations 21, 35, 42, 49, 56, 63, 70, 77, 84 and 91 HSS, (c) The immersion time and ZPT Gibracidâ concentration did not significantly affect the leaf area variable in all observations, (d) Seeds immersed in the ZPT Gibracid â with a concentration of 100 ppm and the immersion time of 2 hours (T2D2) gave the best results on several observational variables, such as: (1) the highest average plant height of 66.80 cm; (2) 32 leaves on average; (3) The highest average number of stem segments is 12.33 pieces; (4) The highest average length of stem is 9.14 cm, (e) Seeds that are immersed in Gibracid ZPT â with a concentration of 150 ppm and 1 hour immersion time (T1D3) give the best results on the average plant diameter variable widest 4, 95 mm
