RESPON PERTUMBUHAN SETEK GARUT (Marantha arundinacea L.) TERHADAP BERBAGAI KONSENTRASI AIR KELAPA MUDA VARIETAS RAJA PADA BERBAGAI MACAM MEDIA TANAM

Abstract

The aim of this research is to knows the response of the growth the garut stem cutting to various concentrations of young coconat water in the Raja variety in various planting media. The research was started from april to june 2016 in the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture at the University of Wisnuwardhana Malang by using a Randomized Block Design (RBD), while the garut stem cutting of local varietas were obtained from Tuban. RDB consists of the first factor concentrating young coconut water and the second factor planting media. The first faktor (K) consists of 5 levels and the second factor (M) consists of  3 levels of treatment so that 15 treatment combinations are obtained which will be repeated 3 time. The results of research are : a) Giving a combination of treatment can foster faster shoots of higher plants ang havier plant biomass, b) K2 treatment tends to increase the root biomass of the numberof leaves and shoots more, c) media cow manure tends to increase the number of leaves and root biomass
