Abstract

The problem in this research is the factors affect the movement of labor from agriculture to the industrial sector. While the goal in this research is to analyze the factors that affect the movement of labor from agriculture to the industrial sector. This research was conducted by the method of survey in the village of TambakRejo Subdistrict of Kraton, Pasuruan Regency East Java. The data were analyzed by using a Logit Model analysis tools. The results of this research suggests that the factors that affect the movement of labor from agriculture to the industrial sector there were 6: wages in the industrial sector, the level of education and the number of people who become family dependants are factors that correlated positively to the possibility (probability) to make the movement from agriculture to the industrial sector and wages in the agricultural sector, land area owned and income is correlated in negatively to the possibility (probability) to make the movement of jobs from agriculture to the industrial sector
