Faktor Penyebab Ibu Rumah Tangga Bekerja di Sektor Non Pertanian Dalam Meningkatkan Pendapatan Keluarga (Studi Kasus di Desa Dengkol, Kec. Singosari, Kab. Malang)

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence housewives working in the nonagricultural
sector and their contribution to family income. The research method is purposive
sampling for the selection of research locations and deep interview for the determination of
respondents. Primary and secondary data were analyzed using an approach in accordance with the
objectives analyzed by (a) Gujarati Modified Logit Model and (b) percentage analysis The results of
this study are the causes of housewives working in non-agricultural sektors, including 3 positively
correlated variables (wages in non-agricultural sektor, level of education and number of people who
are dependents of the family) and 2 variables negatively correlated (land area owned and level of
family income). Non-agricultural contribution to family income is 73.5%.
