REALITAS PROGRAM REHABILITASI LAHAN KRITIS PARTISIPATIF: MASIH PERLUKAH UNTUK DILANJUTKAN?
Abstract
Among many issues that exist in the world, environmental issues are becoming very important and interesting to review. Forest sustainability is not solely the responsibility of one side, but become the responsibility of the whole Government and public elements. The purpose of this study focuses on should the critical land rehabilitation to be continued at the level of farmers in Randangan Watersheds. This research was conducted in Randangan Watersheds, Pohuwato Districts, Gorontalo Province, using purposive sampling. The time of the research was conducted from September until November 2015. This research used survey method; the approach is done by doing interview and giving questionnaire. The population was 150 people, with a total sample of 60 respondents, and is selected by Random Sampling Technique. The data used are the primary data and secondary data, and were collected through interviewing techniques. Results of the survey data were analyzed by the descriptive method. The results showed that the critical land rehabilitation programs in Randangan Watersheds need to be continued, 93.3% community says is necessary to continue. This indicates that the public realize how great the functions and roles of forests sustainable and that it is essential for its sustainability is maintained. The activity of this society is required in maintaining the sustainability of the WATERSHED ecosystem to the survival of human lives.
