ANALISIS PENDAPATAN USAHA TANI SAWI HIJAU ORGANIK (Di Yayasan Kaliandra Sejati, Desa Dayurejo, Kecamatan Prigen, Kabupaten Pasuruan)
Abstract
Horticultural crops hold a significant position, and their role has a very high economic value in contributing to the country's foreign exchange earnings. Considering that humans consume more horticultural crops as daily food compared to instant food, it is necessary to develop horticultural crops. Organic farming has become a health reference for all humans because it is believed that consuming organic agricultural food will maintain health and avoid food that uses chemical pesticides, even though organic food is currently more expensive. From the explanation above, a study of the income from organic green mustard greens farming at the Kaliandra Sejati Foundation in Dayu Rejo Village, Prigen District, Pasuruan Regency becomes interesting to be researched by the author. The objectives of this study are to 1) analyze the production of organic green mustard greens farming at the Kaliandra Sejati Foundation, and 2) analyze the income from organic green mustard greens farming at the Kaliandra Sejati Foundation. The research method includes determining the research location at the Kaliandra Sejati Foundation in Dayurejo Village, Prigen District, Pasuruan Regency. The selection of this research location is based on the following considerations: the Kaliandra Sejati Foundation is the largest organic green mustard greens farm in Pasuruan Regency, has a high selling price for commodities and high-quality products, has a fairly broad market, and has fairly good management in seedling, maintenance, harvesting, and post-harvest or marketing. The results of the study can be concluded: 1) Market potential: the demand for organic products, including green mustard greens, is increasing along with the increasing consumer awareness of health and environmental sustainability, and the Kaliandra Sejati area has a great opportunity to meet this demand, 2) Economic benefits: organic green mustard greens farming in this area shows significant profit potential, by avoiding the use of pesticides and chemical fertilizers, operational costs can be reduced even though the selling price of organic products tends to be higher, and 3) Environmental sustainability: organic farmers contribute positively to the environment by reducing soil and water pollution and increasing long-term soil fertility
