PELUANG BUDIDAYA SAYURAN SECARA VERTIKULTUR UNTUK PENDUKUNG KETAHANAN PANGAN KELUARGA SELAMA COVID 19

Abstract

COVID 19 has become a pandemic and is spreading in Indonesia. The presence of COVID 19 causes work and school activities to be carried out at home. The effect of COVID 19 also occurs in the economic aspect; many people have experienced a decrease in income and have lost their jobs due to layoffs. The decline in income makes it difficult for many people to meet their daily needs, especially food needs. One solution that can be done in this situation is producing their food. Food ingredients that are easy to produce yourself are vegetables. The cultivation of  vegetables can be done around the house using a verticulture system. The verticulture system is a way of planting upwards or levels that can save space. The tools and materials used for verticulture cultivation are easily available at farm shops and online shopping sites. Futhermore, vegetable production can be sold to increase income amid the COVID 19 pandemic
