RESPON PENERAPAN KOMPOSISI MEDIA TANAM (ARANG SEKAM: COCOPEAT: PASIR) DAN JENIS SPT PADA PERTUMBUHAN SETEK TANAMAN HIAS AGLAONEMA (Aglaonema crispum)

Abstract

This study objective to determine the response of the composition of media (husk charcoal, cocopeat, sand) and the type of  PGR on the growth of aglonema cutting. The study was conducted in the laboratory and experimental garden of the Faculty Of Agriculture of the University of Wisnuwardhana Malang, East Java from August – November 2016. The study used a Randomized Comppletely Design (RCD) factorial consisting of the first phase of the composition of the planting media (M) consisting of 3 treatments levels and factor 2 PGR (S) consists of two treatments so that 6 treatment combinations are obtained repeated three times. The goal of the research such as:  a. In the general there was not interaction between the composition of the planting media and PGR which was significant in the growth of aglonema cutting, b. composotion husk charcoal planting media: cocopeat: sand (1:1:2) in general gave the highest number of shoots, number of leaves, number of roots, root leghy and dry weight of thr growth of aglonema cutting, c. From the results of  studies of plant regulators (PGR)  Root Up® (S1)  gawe a real affect on the growth of aglonema cutting on the observation of the number of leaves with an average of 0,22 strands and the number of root with an average of 9,33 pieces
