RESPON BERAT BIJI DAN KONSENTRASI ZPT GIBERELIN SINTETIK (GIBRACID ) PADA PERTUMBUHAN AWAL BIBIT CEMPEDAK KULTIVAR LANGKAT

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the response of seed weight and concentration synthetic Gibberelin ZPT (Gibracidâ) on the initial growth of the Langkat cultivar plant conducted from February to June 2019. The research method used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with factorial experiments, including Factor I was weight Cempedak seeds and Factor II are Gibracid concentrations â, in detail as a combination of treatments are as follows: (a) B1K1: Cempedak seeds weighing <4.5 grams soaked by ZPT Gibracidâ at a concentration of 50 ppm; (b) B1K2: cempedak seeds weighing <4.5 grams soaked by ZPT Gibracidâ at a concentration of 100ppm; (c) B2K1: cempedak seeds weighing 5-5.5 grams soaked by ZPT Gibracidâ at a concentration of 50 ppm; (d) B2K2: cempedak seeds weighing 5-5.5 grams soaked by ZPT Gibracidâ at a concentration of 100 ppm; (e) B3K1: cempedak seeds weighing> 6 grams soaked by ZPT Gibracidâ at a concentration of 50 ppm; and (f) B3K2: cempedak seeds weighing> 6 grams soaked by ZPT Gibracidâ at a concentration of 100 ppm. The results of the study include: (a) Treatment of seed weight and ZPT Gibracid concentration â gave interactions to observations: (1) Breaking shoots at 7 HST observations, (2) Shoot height at 14, 21, 28, 35, 42, and 49 HST, (3) Diamater buds at 14, 21, and 84 HST observations, (4) Number of leaf buds at 49 HST observations, (5) Leaf area at 42 and 49 HST observations; (b) Seed weight treatment gives a real influence to variables: (1) Shoot height at observations 56, 63, 70, 77, and 84 HST, (2) Bud diameter at observations 49, 56, 63, 70 and 77 HST, ( 3) The number of leaf buds on observations 14 and 77 HST, (4) Number of leaves on observations 77 HST, (5) Leaf area on observations 63, 70, 77 and 84 HST; (c) Gibracid ZPT concentration treatment gave a real influence to the leaf area variable at the observation of 56 HST; (d) Seed weight> 6 grams and immersed in Gibracid ZPT â with a concentration of 100 ppm (B3K2) gave the best results on several observational variables, namely: (1) The fastest shoot buds, (2) The number of leaf buds appeared 4 times during observation, (3) The highest average number of leaves is 5.67 strands; (e) Seed weight> 6 grams and immersed in Gibracid ZPT â with a concentration of 50 ppm (B3K1) gives the best results on several observational variables, namely: Leaf area with the widest average of 244, 77 cm2, and (f) Seed Weight 5 -5.5 grams and immersed in Gibracid ZPT â with a concentration of 50 ppm (B2K1) gives the best results on several observational variables, including: (1) The fastest shoot breaking together with B3K2, (2) Shoot height as high as 29, 28 cm, and (3) Diameter of widest shoot with an average of 6.66 mm
